Our client, a Branding and Packaging Agency, is seeking a Design Director to focus on their packaging business. This role is seeking candidates on a Temp to Perm basis and starting ASAP. Candidates must be available onsite in NYC.

We are looking for Design Directors who have led the creative process for packaging design inside and out. You would describe yourself as highly conceptual and inventive in the confines of packaging. Strong brand identity experience and the understanding on keeping a brand consistent through packaging design is never a question. Your experience has ranged industries and can be applied to Spirits, Beauty, or CPG.

Background:

  • 8+ years Design Experience
  • Ideally majority focused in packaging design
  • CPG, Beauty or Spirits industries a plus
  • Expert Creative Suite skills especially photoshop
  • Packaging Production skills and the ability to guide production direction
  • Ability to direct junior designers
  • Strong Communication
  • Client Facing experience
  • Pitching experience
  • Not afraid to present to clients and push the narrative of a brand
