Onward Search is partnering with a premier e retailer who is looking for a Merchandise Assistant. You'll manage the acquisition, coordination and tracking of your subcategory item pages and shelves on for this eCommerce company. You will manage the item page content, cross-sells, and accessories for the merchandise department. You’ll assist the call center associates with customer service questions and partner with cross functional teams to ensure inventory arrives in a timely manner

Position Description:

  • Coordinates the setup of retailer website content and items
  • Tracks and reports site performance
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity
  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Merchandising and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in merchandising, customer service, project coordination, or administrative capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
