Onward Search has partnered with a client in NYC that has a need for an Account Director for their Sports Division. This role will manage multiple, high-profile accounts.

The ideal candidate will have an integrated background, including partnerships, sponsorship, digital, experiential, and PR. Our client is looking for someone that has been a client lead across big brands and who is well versed in delivering major, multi-layered campaigns for these clients.

Requirements:

  • Candidates are required to have a minimum of five years’ experience of working on global accounts involving major sporting events / platforms / partnerships
  • An awareness of global culture, current trends, media and technology are preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning
  • Creative idea generation
  • Delivery and implementation of International PR campaigns
  • Branded content creation
  • Event management and delivery
  • Delivery of effective digital campaigns (within context of broader integrated campaign)
  • Team and Budget management
  • Contributing to new business pitches
  • Attending relevant industry events
