Our client, an experiential marketing agency, is looking for an Account Director to join their team on a permanent basis.

What you'll be doing:

  • As a senior member of the team, you will be assisting with the New Business process, developing responses to briefs, RFPs, participating in brainstorms, research and presentation development
  • Adding value to the broader team development with your eyes and ears in the competitive landscape, emerging trends and consumer behaviors
  • You will be the account lead on simultaneous one-off projects, as well as, existing client relationships, leading meetings and status calls, ensuring delivery of activation decks, budgets SOWs and schedules, and status reports among others
  • Partner with your creative and production team to lead development of activation plans, sourcing vendors, quotes, compiling budgets, etc.
  • Lead, manage and delegate to junior staff on an as-needed basis
  • Provide senior leadership and clients with timely status updates
  • During productions, you will travel to on-site activations, serving as the project lead overseeing vendors and staff in partnership with production team. Lead resolution of any issues
  • Wrap budgets in partnership with production
  • Internally, you will continually drive the agency forward and contribute to its success
  • This includes performance reviews for junior candidates, interviewing, providing insights into client and production opportunities, operations, etc.

About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management at an experiential marketing agency
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, or similar
  • Seasoned, mature client manager who is always looking for opportunities to make the process and experiences for clients better
  • You have hands-on event production, management of budgets, timelines, managing external vendors and a track record of producing on-time and on-budget events
  • You have experience managing budgets and timelines for projects anywhere ranging from $50k to $5 million
  • Have managed internal teams across strategy, creative, production
  • Great communications and writing skills for presentations, internal and client-facing documents
  • You have managed and mentored junior employees in their career success


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
