Our client, a PR Agency in Buckhead is looking for a Social Media Account Manager to join their team ASAP on a temp-to-perm basis.
This person will be client-facing as well as hands-on, managing paid and owned social media campaigns. This person will build a strategy, create compelling content and measure the results, analyze the metrics, communicate the results to clients and recommend improvements for future programs.
Reporting to the Sr. Account Director, this person will take the lead on clients’ social media marketing efforts by creating and executing campaigns to engage with audiences and convert them to customers through organic content, paid social content and influencers to deliver results for clients. This person will have one direct report and may also lead agency digital strategy, social media planning, and new business proposals.
Serve as the day-to-day social media contact for assigned clients, acting as a liaison between clients and internal staff with the goal of customer satisfaction and relationship-building through outstanding delivery of projects and services
Plan and manage client budgets and prepare cost estimates for proposed plans
Identify threats and opportunities, provide ongoing counsel to clients, while communicating and reporting on all client activities and successes
Manage timelines and resources for incoming/current/ongoing projects.
Manage long- and short-term social media strategy and activities for multiple accounts
Generate compelling, creative content that effectively reaches target markets
Identify and source high-quality user-generated content with a strong understanding of best practices and obtaining permission from content owners
Understand each client and the messages they are trying to send
Identify and collaborate with key influencers and measure results
Perform social media audits and prepare regular reports for clients
Plan and implement social media contests, giveaways, and promotions, including a strong understanding of legal requirements
Monitor, listen and respond to social comments promptly
Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations and plans for revising social media strategies
Maintain awareness of new social media and digital marketing opportunities, platforms and technologies
Manage digital marketing and/or content creation projects with outside vendors
3+ years of experience creating online content and leading community engagement
BA or BS in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications or relevant field
Experience with online monitoring, measurement, web/social analytics tools (Sprout Social is a plus, but not required)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities across a variety of client accounts with strong attention to detail
Strong command of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, etc., including community management
Strong writing skills, including social content development and short-form copywriting
Ability to set clear benchmarks and KPIs, then meet or surpass them
Strong command of paid social advertising (including Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns and boosted posts) with the ability to plan, publish, monitor and optimize campaigns
Graphic design and social video production skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) strongly preferred
Experience with a broad range of digital marketing tactics preferred, including, but not limited to, email marketing, search engine marketing and SEO content writing
