Account Manager

Our award-winning creative design agency client is looking for an Account Manager. The Account Manager, who reports directly to the Client Services Director, is responsible for achieving and maintaining client satisfaction by ensuring that projects are delivered on scope, on time, and on budget.

 

The Account Manager is the central point of communication on one or more clients and responsible for the accurate and timely flow of information between the client and the internal team. They are a key member of the client services team and aid the team in building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Administer tasks, reports, and data entry required to support on time and on budget project delivery including schedule management, project timelines, budget tracking, and project resourcing.
• Own day to day relationships with clients across multiple projects. Schedule, organize and capture outcomes of client calls and internal meetings.
• Understand clients’ objectives to maintain project timelines and effectively communicate status of projects.
• Know all there is to know about the client’s product or service.
• Support the client services team with client invoicing.
• Provide our clients an excellent customer experience by maintaining effective communication across all channels (email, phone, Zoom, etc.)
• Manage projects including writing scopes of work, creative and development briefs, creating detailed project plans, establishing, and managing multiple timelines and budgets, and documenting client reports and feedback.
• Provide regular project updates to various internal senior stakeholders to discuss adjustments, risks, and progress, escalating issues as needed.
• Work with the design operations manager to coordinate paperwork and set up vendors in our project management software (FunctionPoint).
• Work with vendors to ensure on time and within budget deliverables
• Maintain correct details and updates on jobs in FunctionPoint and our server.
• Open new jobs in FunctionPoint and ensure there are job folders that are regularly updated on the server and in resourcing software 10,000 Feet.
• Consistently meet project milestones by identifying, managing, and mitigating ris
• Proactively monitor scopes of work and project health by providing project management reports to leadership team.
• Work with the creative director, creative operations lead and account director to monitor overall studio project pipeline through resource planning to help schedule staff based on priority of multiple project deliverables to avoid under or over scheduling.
• Help to ensure all materials have been reviewed for accuracy prior to presentation and/or production.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years client-facing experience and demonstrated track record of client relationship development.
• At least 1 year of experience in a branding or design agency environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Keynote, macOS, Slack, Zoom and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience working in FunctionPoint and 10,000 Feet a plus.
• Experience with traditional print, digital and video production a plus.
• Experience with web design and development a plus.
• An acumen for maintaining complex project timelines and managing budgets.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to effectively manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in a virtual (Zoom) setting as well as in-person.
• Ability to embrace change and be able to adapt to an ever-evolving project management process.
