Our client, a multicultural agency is seeking a full-time Account Supervisor to help guide and optimize one of our agency’s longest relationships. The Account Supervisor will help to craft and implement African American integrated campaigns for one of our largest retail clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of agency experience and a history of providing excellent service to his/her client and agency partners. S(he) will be part of an agencywide business team charged with building and driving incremental growth.
(S)he will have experience leading and managing creative executions, integrating campaigns, collaborating across disciplines and building strong client and partner relationships. (S)he should be skilled at building relationships and high level of engagement based on proactive communication, accountability, and transparency.
5-7 years of experience at an advertising and/or communications agency
Relevant advertising agency account management experience
Entrepreneurial attitude coupled with strong business acumen
Thrives in a changing environment and works in a cross-team collaborative environment. Must
have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and oftentimes high-
Well versed in management of integrated traditional (TV, Radio, Print, OOH) and emerging
(social, digital, gaming, etc.) media campaigns
Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams
Outstanding ability to lead, convince and inspire in a client-service environment.
Strong attention to detail
Experience managing/training junior staff
Strong writing, communication and presentations skills
Proactive, creative thinker, culturally curios marketer
Must be results driven and be a team player
The Account Supervisor will understand what's needed in the short and long term to work closely with our cross-discipline team and client to ensure long-term success.
Lead day-to-day client communications on assigned projects
Work proactively with agency partners to align brand and key messaging to overarching program theme
Direct agency resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of client’s Scope of Work
Collaborate with the agency’s internal cross-functional brand team (creative, media, analytics, digital/social, public relations and research) to leverage key insights and drive audience engagement while optimizing results and ensuring program deliverables are met
Lead internal teams to ensure understanding of agency and client expectations; coach and develop various levels of account staff
Manage (with support of AD) program budgets for clients from initial proposals to completion
Manage results reporting and merchandising of client work, communicate results to clients regularly to demonstrate ROI
Lead and/or fully participate in client/partner/agency status calls and meetings
Serve as a thought leader and find innovative ways to build new best practices
Contributes to the development and execution of agency’s client-focused presentations and growth plans
Contribute to the overall success and annual performance of the business
