Our client is seeking a full-time Account Supervisor who wants to create African American (AA) targeted campaigns for one of our largest accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of agency experience in account management in tandem with a reputation for providing excellent service for clients and agency partners. Experience effectively leading creative executions, collaborating across disciplines and building solid work relationships are beneficial for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day client communications on assigned projects
  • Work proactively with agency partners to align agency messaging to overarching program theme
  • Direct agency resources to ensure delivery of client’s Scope of Work
  • Collaborate with other agency departments (Creative, Media, Analytics, Digital) to ensure program deliverables are met
  • Lead internal teams to ensure understanding of agency and client expectations; coach and develop various levels of account staff
  • Manage (with support of the Account Director) program budgets for clients from initial proposals to completion
  • Manage results reporting and merchandising of client work, communicate results to clients regularly to demonstrate return on investment
  • Run and/or fully participate in client/partner/agency status calls and meetings

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of advertising agency account management experience
  • Proficiency in managing emerging media campaigns (especially social media) plus, integrated, traditional marketing approaches (TV, radio, print, OOH) are required
  • Strong ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple workstreams
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with persuasive presentation capabilities are all essential
  • Intermediate level proficiency with various Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be a proactive, results driven team player who works effectively under pressure
  • Must be a creative thinker who applies contemporary culturally relevant insights about the AA market segment to marketing strategies
