ACD/Creative Director (Social Media)

Our client, a leading social media agency, is looking for an ACD or Creative Director to join their team on a 6-week freelance assignment. This is a fully remote role that begins immediately. Candidates must work EST hours.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the creative charge on a social campaign for an entertainment brand focused.
  • Partner with Account and Strategy leads on initiatives from the pre-brief stage through execution including high-level integrated ideas including the primary focus, a short film, and video content.
  • Oversee a team of writers, content creators, and designers to execute campaigns.
  • Run creative projects at a high level but also with a hands-on approach.
  • Partner with the agency lead and your team to develop the script for any video content.
  • Understand and carry the agency's vision and approach forward.
  • Travel to clients, productions, meetings where necessary.
  • Other tasks may apply.

About you:

  • 8+ years in the creative field coming from an Art or Copy background.
  • Extensive social media creative experience.
  • Experience developing advertising that is steeped in culture.
  • You are a natural leader with creative skills and the ability to make sense of complex information.
  • Comfortable presenting and selling creative concepts to large groups.
  • Ability to design and write concepts based on input from clients, account service, and strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred in design, marketing, or advertising).
  • Up-to-date resume and portfolio.
  • You must have your own computer for this position.
