Our client, a boutique marketing and advertising agency, is looking for an Account Director with significant B2B experience to join their team. The agency is on a flex on and off-site working schedule so candidates must be open to going on site.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as the lead Account person with your assigned B2B clients ensuring strength of relationship, satisfaction with agency, retention and business expansion
  • Develop relationships across the internal agency team including strategy, creative, pm and production to ensure a seamless and productive working environment
  • Continuously look for new ways to service your client(s) business utilizing all of the resources the agency has to offer and more
  • Develop and own estimates, schedules and team resources to ensure that your projects are staffed and funded appropriately
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure that all executions are executed on time, on budget and that the client is happy
  • Partner with the agency creative studio, and lead relationships with external vendors and clients
  • Drive the process with your project managers and other department leads across deliverables and studio needs
  • Keep CEO and Managing Director aware of all issues that need conflict resolution
  • Work with finance team to report on profitability, expenses, billing, etc.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve the team and agency practices to better serve client needs

About you:

  • 10+ years of agency Account Management experience
  • Bonus: MBA
  • Proven experience working on B2B clients, understanding the buyer journey and customer funnels to purchase. Fortune 500 or 1000 a plus
  • Must have worked on business totaling at least $2 million per year
  • Will need to be comfortable working with the Marketing Directors and even up to C-Suite level on the client side
  • Experience with website strategy, design, build and SEO
  • Must have a strong understanding of the integrated marketing process, campaigns, branding and communications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and Keynote
  • Proven experience building and leading client relationships and a strong internal agency team
  • Top-notch analytical skills and strategic thinking across IQ and EQ to ensure a well-rounded strategic perspective
  • Great time management responsibility, with the ability to switch between projects as needed without losing track
  • Great project management and team management skills, possessing the ability to coach teams to deliver
  • Well-versed in budget management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
