Responsibilities:

  • Work cross team with designers and engineers to design, develop and evaluate highly creative AI applications for content creation, NPC behavior, game balance evaluation and make recommendations to the Lead Engineer regarding the bandwidth for task in implementation and time allotted
  • Create system documentation and test cases for assigned production systems
  • Work with QA to ensure accuracy
  • Create scalable solutions for problems in the gaming domain
  • Be a good human

Qualifications:

  • 3+ yrs working as AI and/or gameplay development for console games
  • Shipped at least 1 commercial game title as an AI Engineer
  • Has Launched an AI decision framework from soup to nuts
  • Strong knowledge of advanced AI concepts such as deep learning, patterns, and pathing including object oriented programming
  • Excellent C++ programming and systems design skills
  • Strong 3d math skills
  • BS (or higher) in Computer Science or similar discipline w/preference to AI or ML focus

Preference to applicants with:

  • Significant Unreal Engine experience
  • Shipped one or more AAA game titles
  • Experience developing for game consoles
  • Experience developing AI algorithms
  • Experience working on multi-platform software projects
