One of our Financial Services clients is looking to hire a contractor to support the team and execute on the PR campaigns and strategies set forth by the business for 2018. This candidate will assist the team with the following: 

• Track earned media placements and social media
• Respond to ad hoc research and data requests
• Develop quarterly reports and Board Memo for the Commercial Bank and bi-annual reports for each Line of Business
• Manage and distribute bi-weekly clips newsletter
• Analyze industry e-mail surveys for key findings
• Distribute press releases to trade press; monitor and distribute press coverage
• Draft pitch materials for press outreach
• Draft new hire announcements
• Assist senior team members with strategic campaigns as needed


• 1-3 years prior experience minimum in a PR role
• Proficient in MS Excel. Tracking/reporting is done in Excel
• Experience writing press releases and drafting announcements
• Proven ability to quickly ramp up on expectations of client
• Actively researches, learns and incorporates new means and methods whenever and wherever possible to improve processes
• Technical Knowledge:MS Word - 3+, MS Excel - 3+, MS Project - 1 +, Visio - 1+, Acrobat - 1 + , HTML - 1+ (preferred)



  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
