Editorial / Segment Manager

Onward Search needs an Editorial / Segment Manager for global retail client that has been certified as a “Great Place to Work” based on overall company culture and employee experience! As Editorial / Segment Manager, you’ll collaborate with vertical and creative teams on messaging hierarchy and wireframing to bring editorial themes to life.

This is a 6-month opportunity with potential of extending further. This is a hybrid role that will require 2-3 days per week onsite at our clients Hoboken, NJ location.

As an Editorial / Segment Manager you’ll: 
- Have strong communication skills across both presentation and written
- Work alongside senior leadership to manage and refine the editorial point-of-view for digital store pages, marketing campaigns and rich content experiences
- Partner with Partnership Marketing to monetize content by recommending and executing native, content solutions for supplier sponsorship campaigns and branded experiences
- Create content for solutions pages, arrange strategic content partnerships,  and evaluate metrics and performance to determine when and where to use content that “sells” versus content that “tells”

Skills & Experience needed:  
- 3+ years' experience managing large editorial content campaigns in an online creative or related digital field 
- Bachelor's in English, Journalism, or Marketing preferred
- 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong project management and organizational skills
