Sr. Digital Copywriter (Journalistic)

We are currently partnering with one of our esteemed clients based in Richmond, VA, in their search for a talented Senior Digital Copywriter to join their team. This is a direct hire position offering a hybrid work arrangement within Virginia. Candidates from outside Virginia who are willing to relocate will be considered, and our client provides relocation assistance.

Role Overview: As a Senior Digital Copywriter, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, contributing to both research and crafting compelling digital copy. Your work will encompass a wide range of topics, particularly focused on lifestyle, real estate, family, leisure activities, and travel. Your skillful writing will empower our digital audience to make informed decisions about their lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market and geographic research
• Conduct interviews with external stakeholders to gather insightful perspectives from various regions
• Create succinct narratives and engaging video scripts
• Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent brand voice across all content forms
• Coordinate with photography managers for projects related to the content you develop
• Oversee diverse copy and content projects from conceptualization to final publication
• Share your work with relevant team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback to enhance content quality
• Skillfully manage multiple writing projects concurrently based on business requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated copywriting experience
• Proficiency in AP Stylebook guidelines
• Strong research abilities, including proficiency in conducting telephone interviews
• Proficient in editing, proofreading, grammar, and spelling (please ensure your application materials are error-free)
• Outstanding digital copywriting portfolio showcasing your expertise

Compensation:

• Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
• Potential for annual bonus, up to 5%
