Onward Search needs a full-time, direct-hire Associate Creative Director for a marketing agency. You’ll join the creative team to oversee all aspects of the teams’ work and all relevant mediums regarding the brand work, advertising, digital and social content that is needed.


As an Associate Creative Director you’ll:

  • Direct the creative product developed by your team and strive for excellence in everything from concept to on-schedule completion of every project
  • Helps set creative direction with leadership and provides hands-on guidance throughout the project life cycle
  • Able to split their time as needed between managing their teams’ work and executing work as well
  • Must be an expert in their craft of art direction and design
  • Have a strong understanding of branding and can direct all aspects of the work from art direction and design to copy
  • Understands strategy and can help evaluate briefs with leadership
  • Has experience designing websites, digital and social content
  • Takes personal responsibility for on-time, expertly crafted ideas, and deliverables


Skills & Experience Needed:

  • 5+ years of agency experience as an art director/designer
  • Award-winning portfolio showcasing a range of mediums with a focus on general advertising campaigns, digital, social, and some video work
  • A great collaborator and communicator
  • A thorough understanding of digital and social media and an ability and desire to adapt with the changing landscape of technology and media
  • Experience with managing and planning photoshoots and video shoots.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
