Onward Search is looking for a Branding and Creative Services Manager for a premier client of ours in Hartford, Connecticut. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining the visual expression of the company brand and culture. S/he ensures print and online media aligns to our brand standards, as well as designs new (and redesigns outdated) materials to support the brand across the whole company.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Develops and maintains the company website and the internal website
  • Designs and develops print and online media/collateral
  • Supports trade show efforts with booths, materials and other branding needs as requested
  • Designs magazine-style proposals by regional request
  • Partners with regions on advertising strategies and designs campaigns as needed
  • Collaborates with People and Culture Department to brand materials for internal/employee communication, including HR system home page
  • Manages vendor relationships for promotional items, print material and other marketing collateral (and does custom designs for things as requested)
  • Supports recruiting efforts by designing and delivering ad campaigns for attracting new talent
  • Maintains company’s organizational charts and “ticket spitter” business cards
  • Maintains the marketing page of internal sites
  • Manages the company photo library and maintains images to be used for various campaigns, collateral, etc.
  • Supports the visual expression of the client across digital platforms
  • Partners with stakeholders to develop ad campaigns and/or design items/collateral as needed for various events (internal and customer/client-facing)
  • Helps Business Development efforts as needed and by request for proofreading, formatting and branding proposals
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain and manage social media pages
  • Maintain and execute Stay Connected
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 3-5 years marketing and design responsibilities with proven results in a multi-site environment
  • 2+ years leading projects and/or participating in large, multi-site campaigns
  • Copy writing experience is required

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to encourage open expression of ideas and opinions
  • Ability to influence results in a multi-site, multi-state environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to document policies, procedures and standard business practices
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness
  • Ability to use various design software, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 85 pounds
