Financial Firm in the Richmond Va area is seeking a copywriter to join them for a contract engagement. Seeking a talented copywriter to join our team. The copywriter will create and update digital and direct mail servicing communications while following brand standards in both our automated and one-time communication processes. This individual will also manage the creative process of monitoring and tracking communications through the necessary approval process while collaborating with data analysts, process managers, Digital, Legal, Compliance, and business partners along the way to ensure all timelines and requirements are met.

The right candidate will create a positive internal and external customer experience with their creative writing, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

General Responsibilities:

  • Manage the copywriting process with one direct report
  • Create and update digital and direct mail servicing communications for Retail and Direct Bank
  • Monitor and track campaigns throughout the creative process while providing guidance and influence as needed
  • Maintain and update templates and tools in accordance with Brand guidelines
  • Help support and implement process improvement recommendations that focus on increased efficiency and reduced cost
  • Ensure communications remain in compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain internal audit document file

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of work experience in technical writing
  • 2 years of experience in a financial institution

Bonus Skills: Qualifications:

  • Jira and Confluence
  • 2 years of brand experience in multi-channel communications
