Onward Search is seeking a UX Designer to join the team of a global tech company for a three month assignment with the possibility to extend.

Responsibilities:

  • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups and detailed UI and visual design specs for web, mobile, and app interfaces
  • Develop or use existing user profiles, conduct task analysis, create user scenarios, or use stories to deeply understand the target user
  • Create detailed diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups and prototypes to communicate design strategies and interaction behaviors
  • Develop the information architecture, interface, and interaction flow of the web and mobile ecommerce experience
  • Planning and conducting some user research with guidance by Senior UX Researchers
  • Assist with UI design and development standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with product management teams and highly technical development teams to support product launches
  • Present work to internal teams, key stakeholders, executives, and external partners for review

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), and/or 3-5 years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, information architect or similar
  • Portfolio should include work that demonstrates strong user-centered design solutions and UI design. Must showcase solutions for multi-platform UX challenges and demonstrate scalable design solutions
  • Proficient in a variety of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Flinto, Framer, etc.
  • Ecommerce experience is a huge plus
