Our client, an Entertainment company is seeking an Animation Production Coordinator for a freelance assignment that can go full-time.

This person will be responsible for all creative development and production for all audience-facing entertainment: Series, Specials, Theatrical, and additional content for social media and owned channels (trailers, characters spotlights, etc). The team is comprised of creative and production personnel that work with internal and external stakeholders to develop best-in-class, engaging content that creates brand affinity.

The role of the Production Coordinator will include ownership of the communication and coordination from studio bid(s) to Masterfile delivery. Entertainment must always be aligned with the Global Content Strategy and in support of the brand values. Production Coordinators will manage the communication process and flow both within the organization and with outside production companies/vendors. This role will also assist Producers with billing, vendor creation, schedules, budgets, and final delivery of all Entertainment Content.

This particular role will focus on animated content for children. The ability to work within the organization across multiple departments and regional hubs are critical. We require a Production Coordinator who is focused, organized, and thrives on the coordination, communication, and problem-solving aspects of the role. There will be significant work within the billing and contracting systems to manage vendor creation, billing, NDAs, and other standard paperwork flows.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain communication between Producers in Los Angeles, Animation Production Companies worldwide, and the larger organization in Billund.
  • Assist in tracking and distributing scripts and other documentation
  • Manage and track invoicing, vendor creation, and other budget/billing concerns
  • Assist in setting up story summits and other large meetings
  • Consolidate and provide information on productions
  • Track integral communications and insure EPC is aligned across Creative, Production, and Marketing.


Must-haves:

  • 3-5 years experience in the TV or film industry
  • Experience in animated and/or children’s television or features
  • Experience in Production and Post is ideal, but at least one is required
  • Familiarity with film/TV budgets and schedules
  • Acts independently
  • Other considerations include: potential travel, early or late calls based on global team needs
