Onward Search has a new opportunity with a great client. This opportunity is for an Art Director that can start immediately onsite at our client’s office in Chicago, IL. Our client is looking for an experienced, innovative and strategic candidate with a proven track record of developing and executing strong creative strategies for big brands.

-Partner with members of the creative team and business partners to develop and produce effective communications
-Manage multiple concurrent jobs
-Fill in for the Creative Director, if needed
-Demonstrate expert knowledge of advertising and marketing trends and translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
-Interpret market research and test results, as well as use findings to focus targeted marketing messages
-Take part in presentations
-Bachelor’s degree or military experience
-Must have at least 4 years of experience developing creative for digital and traditional marketing channels (5 years preferred)
-Must have at least 2 years of experience designing for web, mobile and social (4 preferred)
- Previous experience working in either/both client servicing Ad-Agency or in-house creative corporate culture
-An impeccable eye for design, compelling imagery and composition
-Ability to inspire and drive the development of powerful, concise marketing
-Strong creative strategies rooted in consumer insight and marketing objectives
-Understanding of the media (print, online, mobile) and its limitations
-A knowledge of industry best practices and the ability to identify, address and incorporate emerging trends into strategic development
-The ability to navigate through complex processes, client organizations and ambiguity
