Onward Search is looking for an Art Director/Digital Designer working in Agile environments to join our client in the Financial space. Responsible for incorporating best design and technology practices and providing cohesive support of overall creative strategies.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or graphic design background preferred
  • 10+ years experience as a graphic designer
  • 8+ years desktop publishing experience

Skills and Competencies:

  • Evidence of leadership skills
  • Adobe CS3 Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent proofreading and production management skills
  • Web design experience - Preferred
  • Dreamweaver, Flash and HTML Java Script, Intermediate Acrobat, Basic Action Script and Advanced Cascade Styling Sheets - CSS - Preferred

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the development of creative materials from conception through production
  • Participates in creative brainstorming sessions
  • Contributes to creative marketing briefs or strategies
  •  Develops new ideas from scratch and work to evolve each initiative strategically
  • Provides guidance and oversight on print and production needs working directly with printers and third party vendors; make recommendations to best manage print costs and vendor relationships
  • Works within tight deadlines and competing schedules to accomplish priorities of multiple levels
  • Oversees quality control of the defined company branding guidelines
  • Utilizes best practices, and metrics where possible, to provide internal clients with insight and recommendations on graphic design deliverables
