Our client, an integrated creative, media and technology insights agency, is looking for an Account Executive.

This person will assist in managing all account support systems, i.e., traffic, legal clearance, and production coordination. You will build a relationship with the entire account team. You will be part of an account team managing online campaigns (including interactive advertising, email, micro-sites, e-commerce systems, and databases) that often integrate with traditional media (direct mail, inserts, print ads).

You’ll report to and work closely with the Account Supervisor on day-to-day projects and tasks. You will need to develop an understanding of the client’s business and begin to build analytic and interpretive skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage creative timetables
  • Assist with the execution of creative development and production
  • Work with Account Executive to develop project plans and timetables internally
  • Assist Account team with legal substantiation and clearance
  • Manage client status meetings and internal status updates as well as prepare status documents
  • Maintain a library of all client creative
  • Compile and communicate client feedback and creative changes for all campaigns to the internal creative team
  • Ensure overall quality control on campaigns, including proofing of all materials before client review
  • Develop and participate in Agency growth activities (i.e., providing ideas and suggestions for enhancing internal processes)
  • Assist in other administrative work

Experience:

  • Motivated personality – eagerness to learn + grow
  • Agency experience as an Account Coordinator or Assistant Account Executive preferred but not necessary
  • Strong research abilities and good strategic instincts to write competitive analyses
  • Strong writing skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented – you’ll be juggling 20 projects at a time
  • The sense of urgency in responding promptly to all client and internal requests
  • Ability to assist on smaller production projects
  • Will need to gain an understanding of the advertising process, particularly Account Planning
  • Ability to leverage a variety of sources for the requested information
  • Must be comfortable working with a bi-coastal team
