Onward Search's client, a small, independent full-service advertising agency is searching for an Assistant Account Executive who is ready to learn the agency business and join their team on a permanent basis. This role begins immediately on site in NYC.


  • You will be the key resource to the account team, supporting all internal aspects of creative and campaign deliverables which can include but not limited to, website updates, tracking of social media creative, email blasts, tracking contests and support.
  • Own and consistently operate project timelines.
  • You will drive production and execution of initiatives, as well as, other program components as directed.
  • You will keep track of all project items, aligning schedules and booking meetings for relevant team members.
  • You will act as the agency steward to ensure that all assets and tools abide by our and our clients' standards.
  • Support the team's innovation projects, lending a hand in research and reporting.
  • Act as a participant in the coordination of daily and weekly team updates.
  • Work with partnering agency teams to traffic and coordinate materials.
  • Proofread presentations and creative materials.
  • Other tasks may apply.


  • Bachelors degree ideally in Marketing or Advertising.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years working in an Account Management/Client Management function in an agency, digital media company or publishing company.
  • You are an effective communicator - we work over messaging chat programs, video conference and in an email, etc.
  • You can multitask and stay organized with the best of them, being able to prioritize and execute in on time.
  • You are proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and leveraging the internet for research.
  • You are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.
  • You will need to submit a writing sample for this job.
