Our client, a social media content company, is on the hunt for a Assistant/Editor/Post-Production Assistant to join their team.

You will report to the Executive Producer and be responsible for:

  • Ingest, prep, sync, and organize incoming project footage, elements, and other media for editors and/or VFX artists prior to edit within the Adobe Create Cloud suite of apps
  • Basic sound editing in preparation for final audio-post
  • Encoding and delivery of final assets
  • Create string outs, pull selects, and work on rough edits
  • Source and edit music / SFX
  • Become an expert user of our media server and help manage file structure and project workflows
  • Troubleshoot tech issues (access to server, font installs, exports)
  • Coordinate content among editors

Must:

  • 2-4 years experience as assistant editor with equivalent experience and/or training using Adobe Creative Suite - specifically, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
    Deep understanding of the post production workflow
  • Someone with strong problem-solving skills who has a proactive approach towards creating solutions
  • Must be meticulous, technical, organized, and creative at the same time
  • A task-oriented and self-motivated person who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • A passion for social media platforms and creativity
