Onward Search is hiring an Associate Brand Manager on a contract basis for an international company

Responsibilities:

  • Stewards’ portfolio & planning initiatives that align to Marketing priorities
  • Directs operational processes & practices across Marketing organization, focusing on greater agility and improved effectiveness, determining how all the pieces come together for maximum productivity
  • Supports annual planning process for the marketing organization, including coordination with multiple system stakeholders to achieve key planning milestones and deliverables

  • Support cross-functional teams to provide direction and manage timeline milestones to achieve desired objectives
  • Focuses on both short-term (1 year) and mid-term (2-3 years) North America OU Marketing initiatives, interacting with other PMO groups across organization, thinking both upstream & downstream to analyze the actions that might affect marketing initiatives

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods/beverages industry. Extensive knowledge/experience of business planning, project management, process management would be advisable. General Management skills strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • Ability to steward consumer-centric portfolio and planning marketing initiatives, ensuring delivery against key business objectives and timings agreed. Specifically, the position acts as an independent voice that guides categories in portfolio & planning initiatives to identify potential barriers throughout the process.
  • Role requires various communication objectives, including sharing information, influencing others, and negotiating with others.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely is essential.
  • Role requires communication with internal and external parties
  • Ability to communicate effective in situations where other parties have opposing interests/objectives?
