Our client, a social media content company, is on the hunt for an Associate Content Producer/Writer to join their team.

You will be working closely with the Content team, you will be responsible for:

  • Pitch, produce and edit curated news content for social media platform looking for big and bold ideas
  • Build and shape stories from publicly available content working in the front lines of the future of news storytelling
  • Working with newsrooms and journalists to help them develop best-in-class mobile storytelling
  • Report and fact-check major news events
  • Write news copy for filters for Our Stories
  • Assist producers in their stories

Musts:

  • 1-3 years professional experience in journalism and news production
  • Proven experience as a collaborator who works well under breaking news pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to write and produce under tight deadlines
  • Background in TV production is strongly preferred
  • Experience using After Effects encouraged
  • Candidates who will be most successful in this role are adaptable to a changing environment and have a passion for storytelling across digital platforms
