Our client, an Advertising Agency, is looking for an Associate Creative Director/ACD of Copy to join their team. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies to fill the roles. 


  • Directing a group of Copywriters as they create promotional communications for assigned brands that you and your team are responsible for.
  • Ensuring quality copy output for your group and timely delivery of the final product.
  • Assigning brands to Copywriters, supervise team as they develop intelligent, original and effective creative solutions, review their work and assess their performance on any given project.
  • Reviewing team's work during each part of the creative process and before it is submitted to the client (from concept through production).
  • Managing copy team's workload, maximizing efficiency and ensuring completion is on time and within budget.
  • Inspiring and elevating the level of creative output and ability of all Copywriters within the team, owning the professional development of each member of your team.
  • Maintaining constant communication as it pertains to developments/projects within the creative department.
  • Working collaboratively with ACDs of Art to ensure your team is creating complimentary and robust copy for the campaign visuals.
  • Becoming an expert on each brand you manage and that brand's industry competitor.
  • Effectively present creative work both internally and externally.
  • Participating in and contributing to the shaping of brand positioning and strategy, working collaboratively with all other members of the brand team.


  • 5+ years of creative/supervisory copy experience, preferably in healthcare communications.
  • Healthcare agency background preferred.
  • Strong portfolio of pharmaceutical copy work.
  • BA degree or greater in a relevant field.
  • Ability to work/manage on-site in Orange County.
  • Previous experience with leading and developing teams/talent.
