Our client, a fitness company, is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager to join their team!

Associate Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Filter, assess, and respond to incoming marketing inquires for grassroots marketing, donations, events, and sponsorships.
  • Manage and coordinate various onsite events with our Sales Team.
  • The main point of contact for local organizations and charities for sponsorships, donations, raffles for our 65+ locations in 6 states.
  • Build relationships with the Marketing Departments of local shopping centers and businesses to be included in their ongoing marketing efforts.
  • Tracking and ordering of gym marketing collateral, signage, and various promotional items.
  • Coordinate mini content missions monthly in the gyms for marketing visuals, including video and imagery.
  • Travel to different markets as needed.
  • Ensure that marketing material within clubs and online are on-brand.
  • Working collaboratively with an 8-10 person Marketing Department.
  • Manage implementation of various aspects of Marketing initiatives as needed.

Associate Marketing Manager Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Experience in the fitness industry and/or a strong interest in fitness.
  • A degree in Marketing or a related field is a requirement.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management, and vendors, i.e. calm, professional, and empathetic to all levels of management, employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Experience in working closely with Graphic Designers on artwork layouts, messaging hierarchy, and CTAs.
  • Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem-solving; and good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Good sense of humor and upbeat attitude.
  • Loyalty to the team and company.
  • Strong attention to detail, can work under deadlines, and can multi-task very efficiently.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
