Onward Search is currently hiring an Online Product Marketing Coordinator to work within the e-commerce department at a large corporation in West Atlanta. This is a long-term contract position with ability to go permanent for the right person!

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a supplier brand & serve as the primary product data category lead as it relates to the e-commerce site. This role ensures product data quality, presentation and promotions for the brand and develops and maintains the day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners to support data initiatives online. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping team projects on-task and within expectations of project timeline working with digital content managers & leadership to prioritize projects and own deliverables of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Become the subject matter expert for assigned supplier brand /account. Learn and report on best practices, industry standards, and legal requirements associated with assigned projects
  • Responsible for category product data projects and status reporting - SKU maintenance, product cross merchandising online, product presentation, etc.
  • Responsible for prioritizing projects, tasks to ensure deliverables and goals are met or exceeded
  • Measure ongoing effectiveness of programs against metric targets
  • Coordinate integrated teams from one or more external agencies or functional organizations supporting managed initiatives
  • Trouble shoot, and problem solve for ongoing operational needs as they arise
  • Ability to author clear, concise end user/training materials for processes

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a heavily client-facing role within an in-house product marketing, e-commerce, category management, or similar role
  • Prior experience in e-commerce, data management, process analysis and improvement
  • Must have expert skills in Microsoft Excel. Any MS Access or SQL knowledge a huge plus
  • Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks with strong decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills & effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical and customer service skills
  • Positive, upbeat, can-do, professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team oriented
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to lead and manage cross functionally
