Onward Search is looking for a freelance Copywriterwith extensive B2C experience to join our education client in northeast Atlanta for a remote contract opportunity!
PLEASE NOTE: Even though the work can be completed remotely, you MUST be based in Atlanta and be able to work the first week or so onsite and then be available for occasional onsite meetings moving forward.
This is an ongoing W2 contract role.
40 hrs/wk are expected for the first month or so, 15-30 hrs/wk from thereon.

You MUST be located in Atlanta.
Your focus is to create and edit compelling, persuasive, creative copy and content with a focus on B2C web content, email marketing, social channels, and general marketing collateral.
The majority of the work will be shortform in nature; there is no expectation for things like blogs, white papers, etc.
You have an obsessive attention to detail and aren’t afraid to ask questions, QA your own work, and own/rectify your mistakes.
The content team is small, so you should be capable and comfortable working independently and with limited direction and oversight.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a similar field from an accredited university or college
5+ years of professional B2C copywriting experience.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and effectively communicate progress
Prior experience working for a company with multiple locations across the country preferred.
Intuitive understanding of what an audience needs to know and how it wants to consume it.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively and efficiently while meeting marketing deadlines.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly-collaborative team environment.
Strong examples of proven, innovative, modern B2C copy REQUIRED and should be submitted at time of application.
