Onward Search is looking for a Digital Creative Director to join our agency client in Atlanta for an onsite direct hire opportunity! Candidates local to Atlanta preferred. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies to fill the role.
You'll be responsible for strategic, creative leadership, concepts, and hands-on design work across a wide variety of digital and interactive projects including websites, mobile apps, custom portals, web apps, CMS systems, platforms, etc.
This is a client-facing role and will involve requirements gathering, pitch work, deliverable reviews, and similar functions.
You need to have a deep understanding of the business side of the creative industry required. Experience managing design projects against deadlines and budgets strongly preferred.
This is a digital role and experience, and portfolio work should be primarily if not exclusively in the digital space.
7-10 years of experience in strategic and hands-on digital creative leadership at the ACD or CD level.
Bachelor's Degree in design, marketing, or a similar field preferred.
5+ years of experience managing creating teams of 5+ people required.
Broad experience in web, ecomm, and mobile design and design leadership required.
Ability to work within tight and aggressive deadlines.
Expert proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, etc.
Experience in UX design including wireframing, prototyping, and UX strategy, as well as associated tools, is a plus.
Advanced experience leading, concepts, and designing user interfaces for enterprise, web, mobile, B2B, and B2C applications.
A mind and passion for digital innovation.
Must be a bright, articulate, self-starter who can take the initiative and bring new ideas to the table
Must have a robust digital art direction and graphic design background
Professional, efficient, organized, detail-oriented, have excellent follow-through and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
Collaborative nature, good communicator.
Solid grammar and writing skills, very organized, detail-oriented, process driven.
An ability to work independently and collaboratively and to successfully manage concurrent and competing projects.
Absolutely no egos allowed.
A clean, modern portfolio showcasing DIGITAL design case studies is required at the time of submission.
