Onward Search is hiring an Email Designer & Developer for an on-going contract opportunity with one of our marketing and advertising clients in Metro Atlanta!

* This is an on-going freelance opportunity that will start at the end of July.
* Candidates must be located in or around Atlanta. You can work remotely for this position, 25-30 hrs/week, but must be available for on-site meetings.

Job Summary:
In this role you will also be expected to lead and direct the design and implementation of the email campaign as well as be able to talk through your experiences and suggestions on which platforms will work best for this specific need.

We are looking for a designer who has experience with HTML Email campaigns and working with email platforms that will allow the ability to embed videos and graphics into an email.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant html email campaign experience
  • CSS
  • Responsive design
  • Email UI/UX
  • Photoshop/Illustrator/XD
  • Ability to hand-code old-school HTML markup
  • Ability to author modern HTML/CSS markup
  • Experience coding emails for mobile
  • graphic design experience (for graphic and template design) is a plus
  • Back-end developer skills (for integrations) are also a plus
  • Must have a clean and put together portfolio
  • Ability to speak up and give suggestions
  • Team leadership skills
  • Any creative side hobbies or interests you can share with us a plus.
