Onward Search is looking for a Senior Paid Digital Marketing Specialist to join our education client in northeast Atlanta for an onsite contract-to-hire opportunity!

Job Summary:

  • Your focus is to execute paid digital marketing campaigns (including PPC, display, retargeting, and paid social) from start to finish including development, implementation, reporting, and analysis
  • You will own the paid digital function for the organization and serve as an advisor to the marketing, creative, and content teams with regard to that function
  • You should be up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices
  • You’ll be successful because you're a perfect combination of left-brain and right-brain, passionate about paid digital marketing and digital lead generation, and are relentlessly focused on execution
  • You have an obsessive attention to detail and aren’t afraid to ask questions, QA your own work, and own/rectify your mistakes
  • Your professional experience is primarily in the creation and execution of B2C paid digital marketing campaigns within or in support of organizations having multiple locations across the country

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal creative and marketing teams to manage, create, assemble, execute, and deliver data-driven, dynamic, highly-targeted paid digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels including PPC, display, retargeting, and paid social
  • Define and identify target audiences in support of audience targeting strategies
  • Compile content and assets to produce campaigns
  • Compile, analyze, and deliver weekly campaign reports and insights to help improve future paid digital campaigns
  • Help develop and drive the organization's social media strategy to ensure continued growth and engagement on various social media platforms and other paid digital channels
  • Understand and manage the bidding and optimization process of paid social and audience segmentation
  • Monitor and report on key campaign metrics
  • Perform content audits to evaluate existing content and assets for quality, consistency, and impact to determine whether to build/edit/remove content; report results to management and other organizational leaders
  • Monitor paid digital marketing trends, best practices, and channels, optimizing and updating campaigns as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in the development, implementation, execution, management, reporting, and analysis of B2C paid digital marketing campaigns
  • Prior experience working for a company with multiple locations across the country is required
  • Prior experience working with AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, and similar tools; certification in one or more of these tools preferred
  • Experience evaluating, updating, and restructuring existing campaigns to improve effectiveness
  • Comfort with both the hands-on tactical execution of campaigns as well as the ability to serve in a consultative SME capacity with regard to paid digital campaigns
  • An ability to analyze, test, and report on campaign performance, evaluating ROI and performance against revenue-based KPIs
  • Intuitive understanding of what an audience needs to know and how it wants to consume it
  • Ability to interpret analytics data and develop campaigns that increase client performance
  • Possess both a logical, analytical personality and thought process as well as an eye for the creative
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively and efficiently while meeting marketing deadlines
  • Willingness to ask questions and an ability to QA work, rectify errors, and own those mistakes
  • An ability to organize and analyze large quantities of data, interpret metrics, and derive actionable insights
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly-collaborative team environment
  • A passion for paid digital marketing and the improvement of related campaign performance
