Onward Search is hiring for a Social Media Manager! This is a contract position located in Alpharetta, GA. Health benefits included.

Ideal Candidate: Social Media Manager with 4-5 years of experience. Healthcare and social advertising is a plus


  • Monitor sponsored brand and issues based social media sites across multiple platforms—Facebook, Twitter, blog (Wordpress platform), LinkedIn, YouTube and Wikipedia
  • Respond to all customer questions, comments and concerns submitted through social channels
  • Escalate concerns when necessary
  • Follow Halyard social media guidelines to post on behalf of the company
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and company—enhance online profile through Social CRM, create brand advocates
  • Develop and post new content, writing for various social media platforms. All product or services related content must be routed through Mktg, Legal and Regulatory
  • Monitor for and track third party mentions of products, industry issues and competitors across 150 million online sources using Radian6
  • Trend for hot topics and recognize opportunities for engagement through social listening (Radian6)
  • Use social media to drive organic site traffic, generate leads and recognize new business opportunities
  • Work with communication managers to develop social media campaigns/promotions and define overall objectives
  • Own social best practices and a complete and clear understanding of FDA draft guidelines on social media
  • Report on social media efforts monthly, analyzing metrics from a variety of sources including Radian6, Facebook Analytics and Google Analytics
  • Contribute to new and existing social strategies, providing recommendations and guidance based on trends
  • Remain current on the latest social media news, platforms and trends


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
