Onward Search is hiring a Social Analyst on an 18-month contract basis for an international client with offices in Midtown Atlanta.
This is a W2 contract role that will run for 18-months. There is potential for this position to go perm after the life of the contract.
Must be local to Atlanta or willing to relocate. Will be expected to be on-site in Atlanta after COVID-19.
This is a full-time (40-hours a week) opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to our social intelligence command center by monitoring social channels and analyzing company, brand, consumer and trending conversations.
Translate various sources of social data into actionable consumer insights that help inform our strategic planning and content efforts.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, create and deliver social marketing reports and insights to help drive our business initiatives on an on-demand and routine basis.
Monitor and report on our brands’ relative position against competitors and leading brands in the social space.
Maintain a pulse on industry updates, best practices, tools and techniques to continuously improve our social analytics discipline
3-5 years creating and delivering social insights and analytics on behalf of Fortune 500 brands
Experience in fast-paced, high-volume, large corporation or agency; strong cross-functional partnership experience.
A passion for data and analytics and a natural ability to translate this passion into rich insights for various stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.
Must be a self-starter.
Data / Technology Skills:
Expertise in utilizing social listening (i.e., NetBase, Sysomos, Sprinklr, etc.) and social analytics tools (i.e., UnMetric, Demographics Pro, Social Standards, etc.).
Must understand the nuances of social data and how to represent the data in the appropriate context.
Must be an Intermediate to Advanced Excel user with experience manipulating large amounts of data.
Basic quantitative skills – calculating growth rates, averages and an understanding of statistical significance.
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, research, business, finance, statistics, communications, journalism, social sciences or related field
