Onward Search is hiring a Jr. Social Media Manager on a contract to perm basis for an agency client with offices near Atlantic Station.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop appropriate social media strategies based upon each client’s specific business objectives
  • Develop content calendars and assist in content development
  • Work with copywriters and designers to create new profiles, content posts and pages
  • Upload videos, photo albums, etc.
  • Track growth and impact in social media
  • Interpret, prepare and report analytics
  • Respond to comments, messages, etc.
  • Monitor online competitor presences/perceptions
  • Research new blogs and channels for relevance/trend identification
  • Coordinate social calendars with online activity
  • Track social media influence measurements
  • Prepare reports to update staff and clients
  • Ability to develop and implement new campaigns and monitor for continuing optimization of client spends
  • Conducting research to find needed information
  • Coordinating office activities and communications
  • Completing additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Degree in marketing, journalism or new media
  • In depth knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, blogs, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Google AdWords platform
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong editing skills
  • Fresh ideas on how to grow the online presence for the agency and our clients
  • Ability to contribute to the creative team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Keynote
  • Photoshop/Illustrator skills a plus
  • Positive attitude is a must
  • Have a passion for social media
