Our client, a social media content company, is on the hunt for a AV Deployment Specialist to join their team.
Work with the AV/IT team and be responsible to:
design and manage the conference room deployments of AV technologies to our domestic US offices and specialized AV systems in concert with the AV Deployment Engineering Lead to drive team standards.
Manage Moves, Adds, and Change requests as it relates to AV
Manage integration vendors, supply chain distributors, and internal partners to resolve issues quickly and ensure scope of work agreements are being met.
Track any bugs or system malfunctions while providing strong documentation of issues for team awareness.
Develop proactive procedures for periodic system updates, testing and validation of functionality for all AV equipment.
Collaborate with Facilities, Real Estate, Security and other build teams to provide planning, coordination, logistics and execution for AV deployments to execute low voltage and high voltage planning.
Provide documentation and cross training for IT Ops team members on basic troubleshooting procedures, as well as best practices.
Identify when equipment replacement purchases or upgrades are needed and escalate to corresponding team members.
Maintain warehouse inventories
Provide cross functional communications on project status and follow up on punch list items with integration vendors on regional builds and commissioning AV deployments.
Maintain system configuration files and infrastructure “As-Builts” in collaboration workspaces such as Google Drive.
3-5 years of previous work experience in a similar role and minimum high school diploma.
Experience managing contracted vendor teams
Proficiency with troubleshooting enterprise and professional AV technologies including Chrome OS, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Yamaha, Shure
Familiarity with VTC platforms including Google Meet, Zoom and Fuze
Knowledge of AV transmission protocols including UDP, H.323, VoIP and SIP
Expertise in MAC OSX, Chrome OS and PC platforms.
Strong Communications skills – written and oral.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and ever-changing schedules and priorities
Candidate should possess organizational, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail is crucial
Pluses are having worked with JIRA, Enterprise AV Systems Installation and Maintenance, Chrome OS Hardware and Software, Google Hangouts Meet with a strong understanding of Network Infrastructure, Low-Voltage cabling, etc.
