Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Content Writer at a leading B2B SaaS company in the South Bay Area!

This is a temp-to-perm, 40 hrs/wk opportunity based in North San Jose, CA.

This Content Writer will create compelling blog posts, white papers, ebooks, brochures content and web copy.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of authentic pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and committed to meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Product Marketing members to regularly produce various content types including e-mail, white papers, eBooks, infographics and more
  • Create content for marketing campaigns to drive leads
  • Edit content produced by external writers to incorporate brand tone and messaging
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards for content
  • Proofread content generated by other users

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • 7+ years of experience writing for a B2B audience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics including SEO, e-mail marketing and social
  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
  • Portfolio or samples of work required
