One of our well known retail clients is looking for a Contract Marketer to come in and support their Global Go-To-Market Product Strategies.

NOT REMOTE - Hybrid role near Baltimore

The Global Go-To-Market Professional will serve as a member of the Global Go-To-Market Team. The broader team oversees our company-wide seasonal process enabling us to effectively bring new stories, experiences & solutions to market . The primary role for the Go-To-Market (GTM) Professional will be to document all process updates and related documents for the Go-To-Market Process. We are in need of an owner to document the current end to end GTM Process. In addition to documentation we are looking for this role to create agile tools that allow for ability to easily reference & adjust documentation as changes in milestones, inputs & outputs occur. In addition to updating process documents & charters this role will be the owner of our GTMCO (Go-To-Market & Commercial Optimization) SharePoint site and monthly GTMCO Newsletter. This role will also serve as a support to all GTM milestones and execution meetings.
 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Document current full end to end Go-To-Market process inclusive of updating all meeting charters and listing all dependencies, inputs, outputs and risks associated to missed deadlines
  • Modify and change documentation with all updates stemming from a Future Pathing Project being managed by the Go-To-Market team
  • Provide additional support to the core GTM team as we lead into important process milestones & meetings along the Go-To-Market Process
  • Track and audit progress between milestones and work cross-functionally (with Marketing, Planning, Product, Supply Chain & Regional Teams) to keep the process on track
  • Update and own content on GTMCO SharePoint site for access to larger GTMCO Audience
  • Update and own monthly GTMCO Newsletter distributed to all GTMCO Champion Network
  • Draft future GTM touchpoints inclusive of before and after currently scoped milestones


Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills required; take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining peer trust
  • Ability to create simple explanations and documentation out of complex processes, for wider audience
  • Be able to analyze complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and overlapping Go-To-Market seasons
  • Ability to respond with flexibility as organizational requirements and systems change


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Logistics, Business, Strategy, or a related field

Other Requirements

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD
  • Work-Life Integration Designation: Two (2) days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote at home
  • Adept in Microsoft Office Suite; with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Preferred experience with SharePoint and Smartsheet
  • Preferred experience working across large X-Functional Teams
