One of our eComm Retail Clients is looking for an Art Director to come help their team for seasonal initiatives/products. This is Fully REMOTE opportunity and will start up immediately!
The Art Director/Creative Lead is a masterful storyteller on compnay's Global Brand Team who is motivated and energized by the power of sport. The creative work needs to carry the passion of the world’s greatest athletes—from this generation and the next—and the power to help inspire the very best in human performance.
The Art Director/Creative Lead, plays a critical role, having the strategic and creative vision that results in resonant, brand-driving storytelling and story DOING. Plays a lead role in creating the marketing and advertising materials that communicate. This individual must be hands-on in regards to concepting, art direction, photo direction, design, and writing to deliver a significant breadth of deliverables, and capture the hearts and minds of our target consumers, which we call Focused Performers.
The Art Director/Creative Lead will work closely with multiple stakeholders from marketing and creative leadership to operational and production partners streamlining creative development, ensuring the brand vision executes successfully.
Lead creative work for the training category Creative across all digital, social, web, experiential, and print marketing platforms. This includes meeting with partners to align on marketing/creative strategy, as well as collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners.

Responsibility over Brand and Seasonal Creative, digital first– with contributions to Omni customer experience touchpoints (retail, email, social, comms etc).
Manage: Design and development. Individual and group design. Direct all aspects of creative: copy, imagery, design, retail, video and social content.
Collaboration with Global and In-Region Teams --- aligning and evolving the DTC experience with a customer centric mindset.
Challenges: Multiple inputs, ambiguity, fast paced, moving and truncated timelines against hard final deadlines. This role and its scope impacts brand, marketing, merchandising, strategy, product – and most importantly this final work is consumer facing.
Interaction/Internal: Fully cross-functional on a daily basis from brand, category, marketing, merchants, product, operations, comms, media and production teams
Interaction/External: bi-monthly, as needed -- Agencies and freelancers
This individual has to be collaborative, intuitive, pro-active, a good problem solver and able to negotiate solves given differing opinions from differing stakeholders
There are no direct reposts, but this role should be a solid team player and set a good example for junior teammates: best practices, peer coaching and mentoring to help grow individuals and the team as a whole.
