Team Sport Specialist/Social Media

Onward Search needs a Team Sports Specialist/Basketball Social Media for a Sports Apparel company based near D.C.  This role with primarily handle content for basketball through social media (TikTok specific)

You’ll join the Team Sports team to help contribute to new trends and initiatives around Basketball focused apparel.  

This is a 6 month opportunity with potential to convert.

As a Team Sports Specialist you’ll: 

•       Manage day-to-day editorial calendars for Instagram, Tik Tok & Twitter. Publish content through Sprinklr in coordination with Lead – Team Sports
•       Write copy for organic and paid social content, including Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter  in coordination with Lead – Team Sports
•       Process and manage invoices to ensure they are getting submitted and paid within 45 days.
•       Support in monthly internal and external social reporting

Skills & Experience needed:  

•       A recent graduate that has interned at their schools’ sports social sports team – creating content. Or at a professional team sport.
•       Needs to understand basketball/actively follow professional basketball – if they don’t understand/follow Golf that is ok.
•       Doesn’t need to be expert in the Adobe creative suite – but def a bonus
•       Young energetic and has a strong love for Tik Tok. Keeping up with the latest trends to be able to lead the team in crafting content with our athletes
•       100% needs to be a heavy Tik Tok platform user.
