Onward Search’s client is seeking a copywriter for a project opportunity with a digital-first, collaborative mentality to join their team. In this role, you will be writing content for digital campaigns such as email, SMS, online display ads, social media and website copy.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with brand and marketing strategists, designers, and project teams in an Agile environment to quickly produce personalized, on-brand communications
  • Quickly absorb creative briefs, ask questions, and create ideas that address unique marketing challenges
  • Work both with team members and independently to execute cross-channel initiatives
  • Understand and address the needs of different audiences, from high-school students to parents to retirees

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of copywriting experience within an in-house or external ad agency; experience creating multi-channel campaigns a must
  • Supporting multiple projects for a variety of partners; subject to constantly evolving priorities
  • Working knowledge of social, digital, and email marketing best practices
  • An innovative spirit and willingness to test and learn
  • Ability to use performance metrics to refine your work to improve results
  • An open mind and respectful communication style for our friendly, diverse, and inclusive culture
  • Expert in creative concepting and integrated campaign development
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus
  • An online portfolio showcasing your best work; provide a link or PDF
