Senior Manager of E-commerce is responsible for all revenue growth, gross profits and reach on Amazon platform, the e-Commerce site and other emerging on-line retailers. The Senior Manager of E-Commerce will also develop and implement the e-commerce strategy to drive web sales growth, conversion, and improvements in the customer experience. The role will include, but not limited to, functional and customer experience enhancements, collaboration with customer marketing team to deliver capabilities that maximize digital marketing campaigns, and the integration of social, mobile, and alternative cross-channel retail features that expand new customers and retain existing customers.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer needs, industry trends, online marketing tactics and user behavior.
  • Analyze and monitor competitor trends
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop go-to-market plans for new product placements
  • Develops tests and evaluates new marketing initiatives and branded programs
  • Propel brand awareness; develop strategies to grow and acquire quality customer base and drive traffic

E-commerce Platform Content Management:

  • Manage product inventory, images and content
  • Enter and maintain sku content including product families, marketing copy, marketing bullets, and regulatory information and product images
  • Maintain master product file for retailers including sku availability, pricing and regulatory status
  • Subject matter expert on Amazon specific SEO, AMS, understands optimal ACOS and tradeoffs involved, A+ detail pages for premium content, Amazon prime day and affiliate revenue programs


  • Compile and analyze key performance indicators to forecast needs, control inventory and ensure replenishment needs are met
  • Oversee and coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure flow of product to
    E-commerce channels is efficiently accomplished
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate digital marketing data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information – experience of digital analytic tools essential (Google Analytics, Coremetrics etc.). Provide regular reports and analysis of your program and campaign performance
  • Plan, manage and measure digital analytic strategy to optimize customer behavior and drive incremental traffic, sales and profits across E-commerce properties
  • Ability to interpret data from a variety of sources including our web analytic application, order processing system, customer database, email service provider, online survey application, and ad server into meaningful insight

Position Requirements:

  • BA degree
  • Expertise of SEO, PPC/Remarketing, affiliate marketing and demand generation
  • Knowledge using EDI systems
  • Exceptional organizational and detail skills
  • Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Needs to be a strong communicator in both written and oral formats for a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills with a clear focus on results
  • Can lead and create direction in an area that is in its early stages and not yet fully formed


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
