One of our Boston clients is seeking a full time Marketing Automation Strategist to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity where you get to directly impact the business from the marketing team’s efforts and ability to be a leader in their B2C industry.

This is a hybrid role based in Boston (Seaport area), with a schedule of 3 days on-site and 2 days off-site per week. 

This is a salaried position with bonus potential annually up to 10%.

Marketing Automation Strategist Responsibilities:

  • You will design, development and execution of marketing campaigns in Adobe Campaign and/or similar marketing campaign tools
  • You will execute behavioral and transactional workflows featuring audience selection using a relational database
  • You will create dynamic and personalized email content forms using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • You will help develop tools for internal business use including logic subroutines, Web apps, and reporting workflows
  • You will apply standard campaign methodology and best practices
  • You will apply and contribute to established SDLC practices
  • You will adhere to and optimize processes that ensure quality and compliance across all systems
  • You will work closely with fellow team members and key business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of strategic campaigns
  • You will actively engage in sprint planning to sprint retroactivities to constantly evolve and improve processes & execution

Marketing Automation Strategist Requirements:

  • 3+ years of working within an email campaign platform maintaining, building, or enhancing overall email workflows or audience selection
  • 3+ years of experience working with relational databases using SQL (preferably SQL Server)
  • 3+ years HTML/JavaScript programming
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field
  • Adobe Campaign experience is a preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills to interface with technical peers and business stakeholders
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functions systems based on available data systems
