We are seeking a Video Editor to be responsible for designing and creating graphic material for video content. The Video Editor works intimately with the Producer, Account Manager, Video Editors, Designers, and Clients to produce the highest quality video content . This position requires storytelling through shooting video with high-end camera equipment (RED), and professional knowledge of the latest animation and VFX techniques to meet all creative needs, as well as a willingness to work in a fast paced environment, accurately executing creative to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concepting and designing video graphics
  • Storytelling through shooting and editing live footage
  • Meeting with Clients and peers to set creative direction or present final product

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus in Film/Video Production or related focus
  • 5+ years professional experience creating motion graphics mixed with live footage in television entertainment and advertising industries, creating branded video communications under fast turnarounds. Solid broadcast credits a must.
  • Professional video editing capabilities required: Motion Tracking, Keying, Rotoscoping, Compositing, Color Correcting, Animating (2D/3D), Typography, Video Editing
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Trapcode Suite, Cinema 4D and Element 3D
  • Expert with all relevant video formats, codecs, and output specs
  • Strong understanding of current design and animation trends
  • Content creation: video concepts, shooting video, design and animation of motion graphics with the ability to integrate multiple assets into creative videos
