Our client is an up and coming consumer product company looking for a QA Tester for a contract role onsite.


  • Responsible for partnering with software development company and factory to develop, test, and ultimately launch a new Wi-Fi/Bluetooth mobile app
  • Work with the product management team to define the mobile user specifications
  • Perform benchmark testing on competitive mobile apps; share findings and recommendations to the team to best inform development
  • Guide decisions on architecture, system design, security, quality assurance and technical strategy.
  • Create and execute test plan for both the iOS and Android mobile apps throughout the various development stages
  • Deploy final mobile app through Google Play and Apple’s iOS development platforms
  • Evaluate any post launch bugs/issues and work to resolve with software development company and/or the factory


  • Experience working with connected products and/or developing smart phone apps
  • Familiarity with RESTful API’s to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Understanding of Apple and Google design principles and interface guidelines
  • Experience communicating and working with Asian suppliers and software developers


  • A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related degree
  • Minimum 3 years prior experience in mobile app development; consumer products experience a plus
