Onward Search's client, a boutique creative agency, is seeking a Brand Strategist to join their team for a B2B tech client project. You will be responsible for the fluidity and efficient execution of brand strategy and creative projects driving research, client relationships and project management, along with the following skills. 


  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, status meetings, and client plan presentations.
  • Aids in the development of strategy decks, utilizing their knowledge of client’s business objectives, competitive landscape, and marketplace analysis to inform sound strategy and recommendation.
  • Driving research projects coordinating interviews, transcriptions, and summaries.
  • Conducting competitive analyses and searching for insights on the web.
  • Day-to-day project tracking and management with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., design, copywriting, production).
  • Creation of polished Keynote presentations and documentation.
  • Contributing to brand strategy projects through creative ideation, messaging and strategic positioning.
  • Participate in client brand workshops looking at qualitative and quantitative data points, testing the strategies created, support with visual design staying in line with rebrand strategy and positioning.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Business, Economics, Advertising).
  • 3-6 years relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising or brand development with agency experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Keynote, Pages, MS Word apps.
  • Familiar with the fundamentals of brand strategy and research.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong writing and communication skills is a must, with brand strategy specific to rebranding case studies for B2B clients strongly desired.
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks, demands, work streams, and deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team environment.
  • Experience with B2B technology clients is a plus.
  • Confident, outgoing, and have the ability to be client-facing throughout the relationship.
