Onward Search is partnering with a leading extended warranty service provider in San Francisco to identify a Brand Designer to join their marketing team. This role will include conceptualizing new, innovative, and fresh ideas into brilliant designs.


  • Designing across multiple media including retail, social, web, print, email, etc.
  • Participating in creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Multitasking effortlessly, juggling several projects at a time.
  • Thinking of new and innovative ways to engage customers utilizing design.


  • You must have 5-7 years of design experience with strong brand design samples in your portfolio.
  • The portfolio should reflect various types of marketing design: visual design, illustration, iconography, print, landing pages, email design, (campaign work a plus).
  • Your portfolio must also demonstrate a keen eye for typography, layout, and color.
  • Clean, modern aesthetic.
  • Comfortable with projects that aren't entirely defined, scrappy start-up environment.
  • Ready to be a team player, rather than a "lead" designer.
  • Can work under very tight timelines (on occasion, same-day or next-day turnaround).
  • Retail experience is a must!

  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
