Onward Search is seeking a hands-on Broadcast Media Supervisor to join the team of a global agency to work on an entertainment account. The ideal candidate has worked with national broadcast campaigns (not local or direct response) and comes from an investment role versus strategy.

This is a direct-hire, permanent role in LA.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate (scatter and upfront), adjust, allocate inventory, and monitor schedules to ensure a delivery that is on time and budget
  • Work collaboratively with key partners including stakeholders, internal teams, and clients
  • Supervise the workload of Assistants on the account
  • Coordinate the entire buying process including post-buy analysis
  • Maintain detailed records of buys, budgets, revisions, credits, and delivery
  • Manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 5+ years of national broadcast experience
  • Entertainment category experience is highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of the media buying process, buying department, and cross-department relationships
  • Experienced with adapting plans when client objectives, priorities, or budgets change, while minimizing impact on the project
  • Excellent negotiation & communication skills, with the ability to generate and present strategic ideas & solutions
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives
  • High proficiency in MS Excel
