Business Systems Analyst

Onward Search is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our fintech clietn's team as a Slack Bot and Jira Service Desk Automation Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our project work, focusing on the creation of Slack Bots and implementing Jira Service Desk automations. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of system enhancement, documentation, training, and providing crucial support to our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Involvement: You will actively participate in project work, including conducting analysis, defining requirements, and engaging in comprehensive testing. Your primary focus will be on creating Slack Bots and implementing automation solutions within Jira Service Desk.

• System Enhancement: As a specialist, you will continually identify opportunities for system enhancements. You will document business needs and assess the impact of these enhancements on current system processes. Collaborating closely with programmers and end-users, you will ensure accuracy and efficiency in the development of these enhancements.

• Documentation: Your role extends to consulting on the development and updating of training materials and user manuals. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive documentation for the products under your purview, facilitating smooth transitions for users and stakeholders.

• Production Support: Providing daily production support is a critical aspect of this role. You will be the go-to resource for identifying and resolving production problems within the assigned system(s), ensuring uninterrupted operations.

• Project Contributions: Your involvement won't be limited to day-to-day responsibilities. You will actively participate in various initiatives, including conversions, mergers, maintenance, and development projects. This includes conducting in-depth analysis and rigorous testing to ensure project success.

• Special Projects: In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to take on special projects that contribute to the overall growth and efficiency of our systems and operations.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
